The office is open Monday - Friday 8 am - 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm - 4 pm (closed on weekends and holidays)

At Southwest Fannin Special Utility District , we are committed to providing safe, high quality water services to our community, while maintaining a standard of excellence in customer service and environmental conservation.

Our policy states each meter is allowed to service 1 dwelling or 1 business.  Multiple connections to one meter is strictly prohibited.     TCEQ notice of only 1 meter for 1 dwelling or business.

There is a drop box at the office on the west side of the gate for payments after hours, weekends, and holidays.

The office will accept cash but will not give change in coins.  Customers may pay with exact change, round up or round down.  Any overage payment will be applied to the next billing.  The office will also accept checks and money orders.

Debit or credit card payments are accepted online at www.swfanninsud.org or by calling 903-290-1812.  Debit and credit cards are not accepted in the office.

Please call 903-965-5316 after hours for emergency calls (water outage, criminal mischief of water facilities, etc).  We have calls forwarded to an answering service for emergencies.

If you have a problem with your water service, please check your meter first.  If the problem is on the customer's side and a technician is dispatched there will be a service charge added to the next months bill.  During business hours the service fee is $50.  After hours, weekends, and holidays the service fee is $100.

 

NON-STANDARD SERVICE MAY REQUIRE AN ENGINEER EVALUATION:

The following are common examples of non-standard service requests (but not limited to these examples):
  *  Requests for additional meters on property that is being subdivided or that already has a meter
  *  If more then one meter is being requested for a single piece of property
  *  Requests for meter sizes above the standard 5/8” x3/4” meter
  *  Properties that do not have existing on-site waterlines
  *  Properties where the waterline or water infrastructure is deemed to be at or near capacity
